What We Look For In Proposals

The MVIF seeks to fund programming in our local schools that are beyond the scope of typical operating budgets. We prioritize projects that: encourage and reward innovative teaching; stimulate innovation that benefits the largest number of students and teachers; enrich students' education experience; and foster cooperation between communities and schools. We generally do not fund requests for equipment and materials. Typical grant requests tend to range from $100-$2,000. Our funding is limited, and we regret that we cannot fund all requests.

 

Proposal Approval

The primary Principal must approve the grant proposal prior to submission.

Proposal Development

Applicants must contact a Board Member (listed on the Contact page) to discuss their proposal prior to beginning the application process. Applicants are encouraged to review Your Guide to Submitting a Grant Application that includes helpful tips and a list of the information you will need to apply.

Deadlines 

Applications are reviewed at the Mountain Views Innovation Fund's Fall board meeting. Grant applications are occasionally reviewed outside of the Fall board meeting on a case by case basis; please reach out to mtnviewsinnovationfund@gmail.com with questions.

Applications for the Fall 2026 grant cycle are due November 5th.
